Here at Flower Bank we have been busy planning for our summer weddings and designing bouquets for our beautiful brides, which got us thinking about our favourite flowers, so, we thought we would share our top 3 Summer blooms with you.

First up, Delphiniums; these tall elegant flowers are one of the few flowers that come in true blue. The season peaks between June and October making them the perfect addition for a natural, summerery arrangment. We love their delicate flowers and elegant length. Flower meaning: Big Hearted.

Secondly; Lupins. Another tall stemed flower that comes in a range of colours. With pea shaped flowers and soft fanned leaves these flowers add a touch of sophistication to any bouquet or equally look stunning in a vase on their own. Flower meaning: Imagination.

Finally; Peonies. A firm favourite with many of our customers. These blousy blooms come in a range of colours from soft creams and pastel pinks to bright coroals and vivid reds. Starting as a tight bud they open gradually to reveal layers of soft petals. With a very short availability be sure to grab some before the season ends. Flower meaning: Bashfulness.
